About the Risedale Seat-Lift Chair: The Risedale Seat-Lift Chair incorporates a patented lifting seat into a classic wing-back chair design. This means the Risedale looks like a stylish wing chair and not a medical device. It operates with a power lever that can fit on either side of the chair and can be removed when it isn't needed. The Risedale's legs can be lowered 1.5" via removable end pieces. The Risedale doesn't lift like most lift chairs either. Instead it uses a much more stable LeveLift technology that moves you up and down on a level plane unlike other lift chairs that have a "dumping" action. 300 lb. weight capacity.
